Brief
Refresh the brand logo, visiting card and a concept based photoshoot which was to be curated for the earring collections of Baka.
Branding

Embodying and reflecting the core value of sustainability, the visiting card is made inclusive by incorporating the Braille script. Sustainability goes beyond being a mere concept and is evident in every small decision, from font choice to paper selection and printing techniques.
In this case, using Courier New, a typewriter font that uses minimal ink, along with locally sourced handmade paper, and employing embossing and debossing techniques that require no ink at all.

Photoshoot
Patang Collection
Patang means 'kite'. These kite earrings are made from semiprecious gemstone slices, selected because of their healing energy: they restore energy levels and block negative energy.
Theme: Capturing the sky as a background and the earring which is part of the Patang Collection, was in the foreground.

Muskaan Collection
This collection comprises handcrafted and exquisitely worked bamboo discs which are set using reclaimed brass which is then gold plated.
Theme: Capturing a raw touch by using linen and chikankari cloth as a background and the earring which in the foreground. Also, using the rim of the glass to hang the earring to give a new perspective as a whole.

Garvi Collection
This collection comprises handcrafted and exquisitely worked silver sheet along the principles of origami. The shapes and process are reminiscent of folding paper planes and carry the nostalgia of childhood.
Theme: Capturing the sand and origami in the background and the earring was in the foreground.

Calder Collection
These earrings are inspired by the work of Alexander Calder, an American sculptor. Calder was a polymath – while most known for his beautiful mobile installations, he also created beautiful painting, prints and miniatures.
Theme: Capturing subtle handcrafted paper as a background and the earring on the foreground.
